Jacqueline Staiti | Certified Fitter, Owner, and Founder
After working in the corporate world for 20 years, I was a little burned out from mergers and acquisitions and was ready to do something different. What would that difference be? My goal was to help fulfill a need, preferable for women. Still working at the time, sitting in a salon chair, the wig business was introduced to me. Initially, I thought, “Who wears a wig? I don’t even know anyone who wears a wig.” Well, that is a different story today.
In June 2003, I quit my job and went to wig school. In October 2003, named after my daughter and son, Amanda Thomas Boutique was born. I rented a small little room in the Stephen Marx Hair Salon in Milford, NH and started dropping off business cards to doctor’s offices. I was stunned by the response. Not only did people need such products, but they needed them to be provided by someone who would treat them with respect and the care they deserved.
As they say, the rest is history, a year later I moved the business to a larger facility in Amherst and became a certified mastectomy and bra fitter. Our facility became a Medicare accredited facility that was no easy task and every time I thought about quitting, one of my clients would come in and thank me. “Thank you, for being here and doing what you do.” This business has truly become a calling for me. I meet AMAZING people daily. I am so inspired by their strength and attitude many of them have when being faced with such difficult challenges in their lives.
Today, my staff and I have a wonderful 3,000 sq. ft. facility in Merrimack, NH, that allows us to offer clients many choices. It is my pleasure and honor to be able to bring these wonderful products and services to you.

Previous to Amanda Thomas, I had a long term career in finance and accounting. I have been with Amanda Thomas since its inception as Jackie and I are longtime friends. Working part time for many years, I became a full time employee here in 2013 focusing on the insurance aspect of the company. I am also a certified fitter taking appointments as well. I enjoy spending time with my family and my grandkids. In my free time, our family enjoys camping and I love to show my creative side crafting with many different mediums. I look forward to helping you soon here at Amanda Thomas!

I am very proud to have been a member of the Amanda Thomas team since May 2017. Before my husband and I started our family, I worked as an RN, with 20+ years in the Nursing field. I was fortunate enough to have been able to be a stay-at-home Mom with my son for many years. I also dabbled in Real Estate for a few years. I am currently a board member and past President of the New Hampshire Breast Cancer Coalition which is a non-profit that advocates for and helps breast cancer patients financially in the state of NH. I enjoy being creative by painting and making jewelry.
In 2015, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. During my journey, I walked through the doors just as you will, I was so impressed with the care and experience I received at Amanda Thomas, that when I joined the Amanda Thomas team I couldn’t have been more pleased to be a member of such a caring compassionate team.
I am comfortable sharing my experience being a breast cancer survivor with a double mastectomy without reconstruction. My feeling is that I have become comfortable in my skin and hope that by being open with my experience, I may somehow help others who are facing the unknown of surgery and treatment.
I’m looking forward to working with you and helping you through your experience here at Amanda Thomas.

As a bra fitter with Lady Grace for 10 years, I enjoyed working with breast cancer survivors. When the retail locations closed, I was very excited to have an opportunity to work with Jackie and her staff.

Reneé Morrell | Hair Stylist & Hair Replacement Technician
I have been a hair stylist for over 30 years. Many years ago, I was a salon owner in Hooksett NH. After closing my salon, I went to school to be a medical assistant. Not long into my new career I found out that I was expecting twins! I spent 3 years at home, then re-entered the work force as a cosmetology instructor for 6 years. Needing a change, I went to work at a salon that also did hair replacement. That is where I started my new training. I later went to work at a facility that solely did hair replacement (primarily for men) where I furthered my education and training. I always felt that we could do more for women, but that was not the focus of that company.
I had heard about Amanda Thomas through family members that have been through treatment. I referred one of my clients to Amanda Thomas because her daughter needed services that I could not provide. At that appointment, Jackie inquired about who had referred her. Jackie was interested in my skills and gave my client her phone number to pass on to me. I called, we met, here I am! Working here has given me the opportunity to work with a variety of people with many different needs. It is truly gratifying to come to work every day!
